Research & projects
Stochasense is a research-led initiative exploring how learning environments can better support neurodivergent individuals. Our work is grounded in evidence, ethics, and collaboration, with a strong focus on listening and responsible design.

Current research phase
Stochasense is currently in an exploratory research and consultation phase. At this stage, we are focused on understanding challenges, priorities, and opportunities through high-level insight-gathering and evidence review.
Our work includes voluntary surveys, conversations, and synthesis of existing academic and practitioner research. We are not delivering interventions, tools, or products at this stage.

Active areas of work
What we are currently working on:
- Educator and practitioner insight surveys
- Lived-experience consultation (voluntary participation)
- Review of academic literature and existing inclusive practice
- Identification of ethical design principles for neuro-inclusive learning environments

Ethical positioning
All research activities are designed to be non-intrusive, voluntary, and proportionate. We do not collect sensitive personal or medical data, and participation is always optional.

Future directions
As Stochasense develops, any future research involving direct interaction, observation, or prototype testing will be designed in alignment with recognised ethical standards and, where appropriate, reviewed through relevant ethics and governance processes.
